Description

SCORZANERA FEATURES
Scorzonera, also called “winter asparagus”, is a rhizome root that is still little known but has been known since ancient times for its organoleptic properties and for its use in the treatment of venom in snake bites in medieval times. The black skin of the root contains a white and fleshy interior with a bitter and decidedly aromatic taste.

SCORZANERA ORIGIN
Scorzonera is a native European plant and its origins can be traced back to ancient Greece, where it was called “Barba di becco” in relation to the hairy conformation of the raw root.
