YAM FEATURES
Yam is a very large tuber that can be used for any recipe that requires the use of potatoes. Very caloric, dry and nutritious, the Lamb has a taste that is at times sweet and sometimes bitter and is widely used as a staple food by many poor populations in the southern hemisphere.
YAM ORIGIN
Yam originally came from Central Africa. It then spread to the arid areas of the world around the equator where it is used as a nutritious food by local populations or as a basic ingredient for infusions.
