PIMENTO SCORPION FEATURES
Pimento Trinidad Scorpion is a pepper from the Capsicum Chinense family, known for its extreme spiciness. The Trinidad Scorpion is so named because of its characteristic shape which presents a final protuberance similar to that of the sting of a scorpion. As then the poison of a scorpion is concentrated in the tail, so also the very high degree of capsaicin contained in this chili pepper (about 2,000,000 in the Scoville scale) is concentrated at this point.
PIMENTO SCORPION ORIGIN
Pimento Trinidad Scorpion, as its name suggests, originates from the Caribbean island of Trinidad, but today it is cultivated throughout central and south America, in the Mediterranean area and in the Netherlands.
