MARACUJA FEATURES
Maracuja is one of several species of fruit belonging to the Passiflora family. The fruit has a soft and slimy pulp rich in edible seeds. In the ripening phase the maracuja changes from a green color to an intense yellow and the skin is wrinkled. The taste is sweet and juicy, often used to make fruit drinks.

MARACUJA ORIGIN
Originally from South America, it is thought to come from the Amazon regions, nowadays cultivation is widespread in several countries such as Brazil, Colombia and Venezuela. There are two main varieties of maracujá whose fruits differ in size and skin color, respectively red or yellow.
