On Monday 17th June, McGarlet officially inaugurated the new “Albano 2” plant, dedicated to the preparation of IV range products.
The new Puro juices, cold pressed and treated with HPP, will be produced in formats ranging from 150 ml to 1 liter in the new factory, which is located a short distance from the headquarters in Albano S. Alessandro (Bergamo). The HPP process uses high water pressure to maintain the organoleptic qualities, freshness and nutritional power of the raw materials used. In addition to juices, the Albano plant will also produce the Only Avocado pulp, which is extremely versatile in the kitchen and has no preservatives or dyes.
The new IV range plant of Albano 2 therefore joins the San Paolo d’Argon fresh-cut production plant, operational since 2017 and dedicated to the line of fresh natural fruit salads Enjoy, composed of single taste references such as pineapple, watermelon, coconut, mango, melon, papaya, pomegranate and fanciful mix (Exotic, Macedonia, Melon, Season and Tropical): the fruit salads are proposed in different formats, to meet the needs of different types of consumers and the different channels distribution channels, Horeca and Food Service.
Ideal to be enjoyed at any time of the day, they are packaged in recycled PET trays (R-PET), an eco-sustainable packaging in line with the strong focus on environmental protection that our company has always promoted. The trays include the closing seal which guarantees safety and freshness even after opening, with a practical disposable fork present in each package. All Enjoy fruit salads have a guaranteed shelf-life of 1 + 6 days and are completely free of preservatives and liquid.
The entire production cycle of the product is carried out inside the laboratories, in controlled temperature environments between 4 and 8 ° C. Our factories dedicated to the preparation of IV range products are equipped with the most advanced technologies for fruit cutting, combined with the enhancement of internal human resources: both of these aspects are an integral part of a company philosophy linked to artisan production, which allows great attention to be paid to the organoleptic qualities of the product to protect the consumer.
