CURUBA FEATURES
Curuba, or Banana Passion Fruit, is an exotic fruit of the same family as passionflower. It has an oblong shape and a color ranging from green to yellowish while inside it contains a very aromatic yellow-orange gelatinous pulp which, as the name suggests, reminds a flavor between that of banana and that of Passion Fruit. The Curuba is cut in half lengthwise and eaten fresh with a spoon.
CURUBA ORIGIN
Curuba is widely known in the southern hemisphere of the world as a variant of its most famous brothers; in particular in New Zealand, throughout Latin America and in Colombia in this case, from where this fruit takes its original name.
