THYME FEATURES
Thyme is a small shrub with a robust root system from which the branched stem rises. Thyme leaves vary in form from linear to elliptic jointed. It is estimated that there are more than 350 species of thyme among which the best known Thymus vulgaris. Thyme has aromatic, digestive, depurative, balsamic, cough debris, anticartic, antiseptic and stimulant properties.
THYME ORIGIN
It is said that the thyme originates from the Mediterranean; it grows here and there in Italy from the sea to the mountain region, but prefers marine areas; it is found in the arid sunny places, between rocks and gravels.
