Description
LAUREL FEATURES
Laurel leaves, leathery in consistency and up to 10 cm long, are dark green and glabrous and have an oblong shape with a sharp apex. Looking at them in transparency, you can see translucent dots given by the glands in which the essential oil is contained. The laurel has aromatic properties (it is used a lot in the kitchen), aperitifs, digestive, stimulants and expectorants.
LAUREL ORIGIN
The plant is spontaneous in the woods and in the spots of the Mediterranean region, especially along the coast by the Tyrrhenian Sea; elsewhere it is widely cultivated.
