Horseradish is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Brassicaceae family. Also known as horseradish, horseradish uses its fictitious roots of whitish-yellow color, fleshy and elongated. Horseradish has a pungent and acrid taste comparable to mustard.
HORSERADISH ORIGIN
Horseradish is native to central and eastern Europe; today it is also cultivated in other areas such as North America and Western Asia as it is widely used for the production of the famous Cren sauce based on horseradish root, vinegar and breadcrumbs.
