GRANADILLA FEATURES
The fruit of the granadilla is elliptical in shape, from 6 to 7.5 cm long, of an orange-yellow color when it reaches maturity. Externally the skin is homogeneous and compact, while inside it is white and soft. The gray flesh is characterized by the presence of many small black tender and flat seeds, the fragrance is delicately aromatic. Also known as Golden Passion Fruit, granadilla is the sweetest fruit among passion flowers.
GRANADILLA ORIGIN
Granadilla has Mexican origin, grows in tropical climates between 1600 and 2000 meters of altitude and is available all year round; thanks to its sweet-sour taste it is considered as a real natural dessert.
