DILL FEATURES
Dill is an annual herbaceous plant with a pungent odor, an erect stem, striated longitudinally, which can reach one meter in height. The leaves are glabrous and glaucous, tri-pennatosette, that is divided three times into thin and almost filiform lacines. Dill has aromatic, digestive, carminative, diuretic, antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory properties.
DILL ORIGIN
The plant is native to Asia (India) but has long been cultivated in Italy; sometimes it escapes crops and naturalizes in grassy places (Veneto, Liguria, Abruzzo)
