CASSAVA FEATURES
Cassava is known according to the country with the name of yuca or cassava. The tuber measures between 20 and 40 cm in length but if left to grow it can reach up to 90 cm. The cassava has an elongated shape with a thin skin that varies from brown to dark brown and the pulp can be white and milky or yellowish. Cassava is extremely perishable and can suffer during transport.

CASSAVA ORIGIN 
Native to North Eastern Brazil and South Western Mexico. Cassava grows in tropical and subtropical climates and is a staple food in many countries in Africa, Asia, South America and Central America. Nowadays cassava is cultivated in many countries mainly in Africa where Nigeria is the world’s leading producer, Asia and Latin America.
