Description

BUDDHA’S HAND FEATURES
Buddha’s Hand is a curious variety of citrus fruit, due to the precision of a cedar whose segments do not develop together but independently forming extensions very similar to fingers. For this reason the shape of the fruit closely resembles that of a hand. The peculiarity of Buddha’s hand is that it is a citrus fruit made up almost exclusively of rind, a characteristic that makes it particularly appreciated for making candied fruit. The exterior is composed of a very thick and fragrant peel while the inside is also very aromatic, sweet and seedless.

BUDDHA’S HAND ORIGIN
Since it is born as a spontaneous mutation of any cedar plant, the Mando of Buddha can grow anywhere in the world where there are temperatures suitable for the growth of the latter, ie medium / hot, humid and temperate climates. However, the origin of the Hand of Buddha is to be found in Southeast Asia where, as its name suggests, it has always been used as a decorative element and lucky charm in the Buddhist tradition.
