Among the different types of bananas, bananito is considered the most delicious for its typical sweet and delicate taste. The fruit has a length of 10-12.5 cm, has a thin yellow skin, a very soft pulp and once it reaches its ripeness can be easily separated from the pulp. Bananito grows in regions with a tropical and humid climate at altitudes between 1400 and 1800 meters and is available all year round. The major producing countries are Colombia, Mexico and Ecuador.
