FINGER LIME FEATURES
The Finger Lime is a citrus fruit belonging to the Citrus australasica family and grows on a small thorny shrub. The very small finger lime of size, has an elongated shape with a fine rind. The internal pulp is composed of many spherical vesicles, filled with juice, which make it resemble caviar. Both the rind and finger lime flesh vary in color depending on the variety. Like all citrus fruits it contains numerous vitamins and due to its particular appearance and its particular flavor it is widely used in high-end cuisine.
FINGER LIME ORIGIN
The Finger Lime is native to the Australian subtropical coastal area of Australia. The cultivation of this citrus fruit has now also settled in other areas such as the USA and there are also crops in southern Italy.
